I'm a marketing professional with over 12 years of experience across healthcare tech, staffing, and non-profit. I'm on a mission to improve the user experience wherever I go - whether it's humanizing the content and flow of an email automation, personalizing page content to the user's behaviors, trying to drive them to the contextually relevant next step, or guiding an employee in their career.
While I consider myself a Lifecycle & Web Experience Marketer, I've also worn brand, project management, people management, cross-functional leadership, product marketing, UX, and traditional advertising hats along the way, and have deep experience in both strategy and execution. My long term goal is to lead a team in a VP of Marketing or CMO capacity, but I'm enjoying the ride as I go.
I'm as comfortable building out user journeys and channel strategies as I am guiding Engineering and Product teams on vision and execution, and I'm fluent in guiding internal/external/agency partners, whether the work is creative, technical, or something in between. My work-best-friends are the Data Scientists.
Tools like Claude and ChatGPT are helpful in advancing my strategic and creative output, but they don't replace it. I personally find a need to incorporate what I know about my audience, messaging frameworks and goals, because there is always nuance and highly-specific context involved. We still need humanity.
I'm a passionate people manager: I care if people around me are happy in their jobs. It makes me want to come to work every day, and fuels my creativity. And let's face it – a good, people-centered manager is hard to find, but having had one or two in my time I know that they can alter your trajectory.
I moonlight as a wannabe-rockstar in a local band. Only ask if you have an hour or two to spare ;)
I'm a hopeless NY Mets Fan (Ya Gotta Believe!)
I have a BA in English Lit, making me a huge nerd for the latest form-foward-but-not-too-snobby Modern/contemporary novel
